Paris's journey into filmmaking began on set as a movie extra, and a production assistant working on independent films, as well as major motion pictures such as Going the Distance and Just Wright. He gained first-hand insight into the rhythm, precision, and adaptability that drive a feature film from concept to completion.
Drawn to visual storytelling, Paris soon began directing and editing music videos, where his keen eye for detail and imaginative approach led him to a wide range of creative projects, from live performances to studio sessions.
As his work evolved, Paris ventured into corporate filmmaking, editing over a hundred short documentaries, alongside trailers and promotional content that blend narrative authenticity with brand precision.
In 2024, Paris was shortlisted as one of ten London finalists for the prestigious American Cinema Editors (ACE) Internship Program, which selects only two participants from each major hub: Los Angeles, New York, and London. This recognition allowed him to connect with top industry editors through various events, including an invitation to observe the cutting room of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, where he gained first-hand insight into professional post-production workflows.
Beyond film, Paris is a musician whose background in songwriting brings refined pace and rhythm to his edits, along with a grasp of narrative structure and instinct for composition, sound, and emotional timing.
His creative path has taken him to working in cities such as New York, Philadelphia, Athens, and London, where he continues to hone his craft across film and storytelling.
